The band Demotion was born in 2006. In the same year, they record their first single 'Accident on the way'. Demotion’s live soul rises with their debut on stage at “notte bianca 2007” and, after a few line-up changes, they finally find the way to a new compact sound. In 2008 their genre evolves into rock-alternative-progressive with some pop-grunge influences introduced by bands such as Hoobastank and Muse, at the same time, the folk element becomes fundamental. Nowadays, Demotion’s aim is to find the most alternative sound characterized by multiple shades but, mainly, it’s to reach people’s heart.
